Corinne

Corinne is the practice manager and evening nurse at Liverpool Vet Hospital.  She has been with the practice for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of animal care – but especially the breeding of dogs and care of puppies.  Corinne has also been exhibiting Miniature Schnauzers for about 20 years and has bred some of Australia's  most successful champion dogs.

Amee

Amee has completed her nursing qualifications, gaining her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.  Amee is the head nurse at the hospital and is one of our most experienced nurses, having been with us for about 10 years.

Amanda

Amanda has completed her nursing qualifications, gaining her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.  She is one of our most experienced nurses, having been with the practice for almost eight years and is currently acting head nurse.  Amanda has also just completed a course in Veterinary Nursing Management.  Amanda has two dogs, Spike and Smudge, both rescued from the pound.  Between their snake-chasing habits and their skin allergies, they keep Amanda very busy!

Mandy

Mandy is currently studying a Certificate II in Animal Studies with the goal of completing her veterinary nursing qualifications in the near future.  Mandy has a big soft spot for 'Staffies' and if she could, would rescue them all!  She currently has one Staffy called Axle but has plans to expand.  She also has a Rainbow Lorikeet called Nelson.

Residents

Lex

Lex first came to us six years ago.  He was thrown over our fence as a small kitten, but lived to tell the tale.  Due to his airborne arrival, he was initially going to be called Superman.  However, as he developed some attitude, his name was quickly changed to Lex (short for Lex Luther).  Lex can usually be found lazing on the front counter..

Dotty

Dotty is a spotty tortoiseshell cat who came to us three years ago. Dotty loves people, especially children.  She will do anything for some attention (or yoghurt).  Unfortunately, her love of naughty foods caused her to put on a few extra kilos. After realising the unhealthy nature of her ways, she has decided to start a healthy eating plan.  Next time you see her, make sure you give her a compliment to keep her motivated to stay slim and trim!

Dexter

Dexter is a grey and white moggy who came to us three years ago, gravely ill with cat flu.  After days of intensive care and nursing, he pulled through.  Unfortunately, Dexter's tear ducts were damaged due to the severity of his illness and he could not be rehomed.  Luckily, he was offered a home at the hospital and still receives ongoing care and love from all the staff.  Due to his past, Dexter is a very shy and sensitive soul and does not usually venture out into the waiting room to meet new people.

Rocky & Fletcher

Our two resident dogs often choose to stay out of the limelight, but they are our unsung heroes, having saved numerous lives with their generous blood donations.  Rocky is a German Shepherd x Rottweiler and  is our oldest resident, having been with us for nine years.  He has since retired from his blood donor duties and prefers to spend his retirement lazing in the sunshine and chasing flies.  Fletcher is a Wolfhound x (we think!) and has been Rocky's apprentice now for three years.  Fletcher saved two lives in 2010 and loves being a blood donor due to all the attention and treats he receives afterwards!
