Nurse consults are now available at Liverpool Vet Hospital at a better price than ever before.

Services include:

• Trimming nails
• Expressing anal scas/glands
• Cleaning/plucking ears
• Clipping off fur matts*
• Suture removal**
• Nurses are also fully trained and able to give advice on veterinary products (flea products, worm products, etc.) or to discuss diets and the best diet for your pet.

Nurse consults are available from Monday to Friday but bookings are essential.

*Please note that major or extensively matted fur can be quite a serious and painful condition for a pet and may require a sedation or anaesthetic to completely remove - this would be at an additional cost.
**Nurses are available for suture removal if desired. However, if your surgery was performed at our hospital, your suture removal with a vet is usually included in the price.

Please feel free to browse the 2011 Liverpool Vet Hospital veterinary roster. It is supplied in pdf form, so you may need a program that can open a pdf file (such as Adobe Reader).

If there is a particular vet at the hospital that you prefer to see, you can now check the vet roster to see if they are working on a day that is convenient for you.

Dotty and Dexter are on a diet...

Obesity is an ever-increasing problem in our pets. A chubby cat or pudgey pooch may seem cute and cuddly, but the extra weight can lead to numerous health problems that may impact on your pet's life span and quality of life.

Thanks to some of your feedback, we've noticed that a couple of our clinic cats were starting to look a bit soft around the edges! Now Dotty and Dexter have taken the plunge and started on a diet to improve their future health.
